Instructional Facilities
The CSE department operates its own facilities for instruction in courses at the 200-level and above.
Login servers
(All servers support x2go and are virtual systems that can increase cpu and memory if needed)
- Arctic - Virtual Machine 16 processors and 24 GB of RAM.
(instructional use only - no long or intense jobs) - Black - 15 processors with 20 GB RAM
(long jobs need to be nice'd) - Xserver - 14 processors with 20 GB RAM
(instructional use only - no long or intense jobs) - Xserver2 - 20 processors with 20 GB RAM
(instructional use only - no long or intense jobs) - CSE410 - 32 processors with 48 GB RAM

Unix Infrastructure Servers (closed to user login)
- Computer Science supports it's own web servers, mysql servers, DNS, and DHCP. Most systems are support as Virtual Machines with a Virtual farm. Should one Vortual Host fail the other will support the Virtual Machine with little if any down time.
- Coral and Reef - NetApp FS 3554. 100 TB space. Home, Research, and additional storage file server.
Engineering Building CSE Network
- Foundry FastIron SuperX. 132 copper GigE ports with Fiber uplink from EGR
- Instructional labs have either HP Procurve copper GigE switch or Juniper switches

- 20 Desktops in EB 3340 running Windows 10 (Bob lab)
- 38 Desktops in EB 3353 running Windows 10 (Simpsons lab)
- 25 Desktops in EB 3353 running Windows 10 (Dog lab)
- 25 Desktops in EB 3320 running Windows 10 (River lab)
- 14 Desktops in EB 3203 running Windows 10 (Bone lab)
