Tuesday, October 9, 2018
12 PM - 1 PM
EB 3105

This talk will introduce the theory and practice of using wireless signals for sensing and profiling the environment dynamics from signal processing’s point of view. The talk will review the state-of-the-art research results that have advanced the field of study and discuss the challenges and limits when applying commodity WiFi devices for various environments and application purposes. The talk will also introduce our recent efforts in building generic platforms and tools for WiFi sensing including the most recent tools for CSI collection, antenna array that were developed by my group.
