Jin receives NSF Career Award

Rong Jin has received an NSF CAREER Award for his project "Large-scale Multi-label Learning" (2007-2011). This project aims to address two fundamental challenges of large-scale multi-label learning: rare class classification and classifying data with similar input patterns. Jin will develop a relation propagation framework for multi-label learning that exploits a variety of semi-learning technologies.
