Jain receives new award from ONR

Anil Jain has received a new grant from the Office of Naval Research. Titled "Semi-Supervised Learning," the grant will allow Jain and his students to continue their work on data clustering and dimensionality reduction algorithms. The main focus of the grant will be on improving the performance of these algorithms when presented with a few external constraints or partial information (hence the name "semi-supervised") is available about the data.
