CSE senior shows Spartan Spirit

CSE senior and ACM President James Pita was selected to represent Michigan State University on the Homecoming Court this year. Students chosen for this honor were required to have senior class standing, high academic standards, and exceptional “Spartan Spirit.”

Pita’s exemplary service to the MSU community includes active roles in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, the CSE peer mentor program, Tau Beta Pi, and the Boldness by Design “Enrich Community, Economic, and Family Life” task force. He is a two-time recipient of the CSE Distinguished Academic Achievement award and currently works as a research assistant in the Digital Evolution Laboratory.
