Tan and colleagues receive new NSF award
Julie Winkler (Geography), Jeff Anderson (Geography), J. Roy Black (Agricultural Economics), Pang-Ning Tan (Computer Science), and Suzanne Thornsbury (Agricultural Economics) have been awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation for their project entitled "AOC: A Multidisciplinary Protocol for Assessing Climate Impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation".The goal of this project is to assess the potential impacts of climate change and their relative importance compared to other agents of change within an industry. This exploratory project will use the tart-cherry industry as a prototype to develop approaches for improving the assessment of climate impacts, vulnerability and adaptation.
