Jiliang Tang Receives Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD) Rising Star Award

Jiliang Tang, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, receives Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group (SIG) on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD), Rising Star Award. KDD established the Rising Star Award to celebrate individual work in the first five years after earning a PhD.  It is a Lifetime Achievement Award in Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, which aims to celebrate the accomplishments of researchers in KDD at the beginning of their careers. 

 

ACM SIGKDD is widely considered as the most influential forum for knowledge discovery and data mining research.
