ICER at MSU received a Silver Award at the 41st Telly Awards

The documentary titled "Facade: Identity in the Digital Age” produced by the Institute for Cyber-Enabled Research (ICER) at MSU, received a Silver Award at the 41st Telly Awards in May 2020. The brief documentary features the work of Professor Arun Ross and his students in the Integrated  Pattern Recognition and Biometrics (iPRoBe) Lab on the topic of biometrics security and personal privacy. It was produced by Ms. Xiaoxing (Adele) Han, Communications Manager and Cinematographer at ICER, along with her colleagues.

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 to honor excellence in local, regional and cable television commercials with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after. With the recent evolution and rise of digital video (web series, VR, 360 and beyond), the Telly Awards today also reflect this medium of programming.

A number of awards are given in multiple categories every year. ICER had submitted the winning production to the "Individual Documentary” category.
