Erik Eid joins CSE 101 team

CSE welcomes Erik Eid, who will join the CSE 101 team as an instructor fall semester 2006. Eid holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University, where he studied the philosophy, methods, and techniques of college and university teaching. His previous teaching experience includes conducting training sessions for industry employees and teaching courses in programming and discrete mathematics at Albion College and the University of Michigan. He has spent almost a decade working in the software industry and will bring his diverse technical and qualitative experiences as a software developer into the classroom.

Eid will coordinate multiple sections of CSE 101, train and supervise student assistants, and co-teach the course. He looks forward to working with students and fostering their enthusiasm for the subject matter.
