MSU PhD Students Co-Author Book on Machine Learning

Two MSU PhD students, Sebastian Raschka from the Department of Biochemisty and Vahid Mirjalili from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, have released the second edition of the book titled "Python Machine Learning”. The book discusses the fundamentals of Machine Learning, and is written for software developers who are interested in harnessing machine learning and deep learning libraries in their code. The second edition discusses the popular TensorFlow deep learning library and it takes a practical hands-on coding approach with implementation details provided in Python.

Sebastian recently defended his PhD dissertation titled “Uncovering Hidden Patterns of Molecular Recognition” under the mentorship of Prof. Leslie Kuhn. Vahid is currently doing his PhD on the topic of Biometrics and Privacy under the guidance of Prof. Arun Ross.
