Biometric Researchers Win Awards at BioSig 2016

The 15th International Conference of the Biometrics Special Interest Group (BIOSIG) was held in Darmstadt, Germany, on September 21 and 22, 2016. The paper "3D Whole Hand Targets: Evaluating Slap and Contactless Fingerprint Readers" by Sunpreet Arora (MSU), Anil Jain (MSU) and Nicholas Paulter Jr. (NIST) received the Best Paper Award at this event. Further, the paper by Yoshinori Koda (NEC), Teruyuki Higuchi (NEC) and Anil Jain (MSU) titled "Advances in Capturing Child Fingerprints: A High Resolution CMOS Image Sensor with SLDR Method" received the Best Poster Award.
