Xu received Best Doctoral Forum Poster award at SDM 2016

Jianpeng Xu, a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering under the supervision of Professor Pang-Ning Tan, received the Best Doctoral Forum Poster award at the 2016 SIAM International Conference on Data Mining for his work on "Multi-task Learning and Its Application to Geospatial Temporal Data".
