Conference of Learning Theory 2012 Best Student Paper Award goes to students supervised by Professor Rong Jin

Mehrdad Mahdavi and Tianbao Yang received the Best Student Paper Award at the 25th Conference of Learning Theory (COLT), 2012. The paper is entitled "Online Optimization with Gradual Variations". This work is under the supervision of Rong Jin, an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University.
