Xing and Wang awarded NSF Grant

August 2012 - Guoliang Xing, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University and Xiaorui Wang, Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at the Ohio State University, have been awarded a grant by the National Science Foundation. The project is titled "Integrated Control of Fidelity and Real-Time Performance in Networked Sensing Systems".

This research will design a novel Networked Sensing Systems control framework that integrates data fusion, calibration, and real-time performance control into a solution that balances requirements for fidelity and real-time assurance. This project has broad implications for future Networked Sensing Systems systems in multiple application domains that require high-fidelity processing of dynamic and complex physical information within stringent timeliness constraints.
