CSE student receives NSF Graduate Fellowship

March 39, 2012 - Kathryn Bonnen has been awarded an NSF Graduate Fellowship to begin in Fall 2012. She received her BS degree with Honors from MSU in December 2011, majoring in Computer Science and in Psychology. While a student, MS. Bonnen was a research assistant in PRIP, a laboratory assistant in CSE 231, and a summer intern a the Max Plank Institute in Germany.

She also received a Schoenl Family Undergraduate Grant for Dire Needs Overseas for a service project in the Andes (Huamachuco, Peru). Ms. Bonnen has been active in MSU WIC, serving as an officer in 2010-2011. She has been accepted for graduate school at a number of places, and will soon decide where she will attend starting in the fall.
