Juhás, Cherba, Duxbury, Punch, & Billinge’s research published in Nature

Dave Cherba and William Punch collaborated with Pavol Juhás, Phillip Duxbury, and Simon Billinge of the Department of Physics and Astronomy on research published in the March 30th issue of the science journal Nature. Their paper, Ab Initio Solid State Nano-structure Determination (vol. 440 no. 7084, pp. 655-658), presents a method for calculating the arrangement of atoms in nanostructures that cannot be solved by x-ray crystallography methods.
