Brown receives NIH Grant

C. Titus Brown, assistant professor in the departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Microbiology and Molecular Genetics (MMG), was awarded a genomics education grant through the National Institutes of Health.

The award supports the summer course/workshop on next-generation sequencing that he and Ian Dworkin, Assistant Professor of Zoology, have run for the last two years. This past summer the course had 133 applicants for 24 slots, and continues to have a growing demand. More information about the course this past summer may be found at:
