Jain receives grants for several projects on biometrics recognition

Anil Jain, University Distinguished Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, has recently been awarded grants for several projects from government agencies.

These include two grants from the FBI Biometric Center of Excellence for the projects entitled "Latent Fingerprint Enhancement" and "Detection and reconstruction of Altered Fingerprints". He has also received a grant from NIST for the project entitled "Measurement Science of Biometrics".
