Cheng, France, and Bieman receive NSF grant

Betty Cheng has received a research grant through the National Science Foundation Division of Computer and Network Systems, under the Computing Research Infrastructure Program. The title of the project is: ReMoDD: A Repository for Model Driven Development.

The project will create a community resource of model-driven development artifacts that will provide infrastructure to improve the use of model-based development. Cheng and her colleagues will collect a set of examples, primarily from industry, that represent good models to support both research and education in model-based software engineering.

The current award is for a one-year planning grant to establish the industrial contacts and perform preliminary requirements engineering of the ReMoDD repository. The project is in collaboration with Drs. Robert France and James Bieman of Colorado State University.
