Jain, Ofria, and Stirewalt win Withrow Awards

This year, three CSE faculty members will be honored with Withrow Awards:

Anil Jain will receive the 2005-2006 Withrow Distinguished Scholar Award for senior faculty. This award is presented to one senior faculty member in the College of Engineering who demonstrates excellence in personal and mentored research and development.

Charles Ofria will receive the 2005-2006 Withrow Distinguished Scholar Award for junior faculty. This award is presented to one junior faculty member in the College of Engineering who demonstrates excellence in personal and mentored research and development.

Kurt Stirewalt will receive a 2005-2006 CSE Withrow Teaching Excellence Award. This award recognizes outstanding performance in instruction as well as student mentoring and supervision.

Please join us in thanking all three of them for their contributions to our program and in congratulating them on this well deserved recognition!

Faculty and staff are invited to attend the Sixteenth Annual Engineering Awards Luncheon at the University Club on March 30 to publicly recognize Anil, Charles, Kurt, and other colleagues in the College who are also being honored with awards.
