Jin and Jain awarded ARO grant

Rong Jin, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, and Anil Jain, University Distinguished Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, received a research grant from the Army Research Office for the project "Data Representation: Learning Kernels from Noisy Data and Uncertain Information."

The objective of this project is to develop efficient computational methods for kernel learning given that input data is noisy and side information is uncertain.
