Bierlein named Outstanding Senior in Computer Science

The Society of Women Engineers and Ford Motor Company recognized CSE student Randee Bierlein with the Outstanding Senior in Computer Science Award at the Women in Engineering Awards Banquet on February 2.

Bierlein has been on the Dean's List for seven semesters, receiving multiple scholarships for academic excellence and involvement in the computer science community. She has acted as a student representative on the CSE Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and worked as a volunteer at MSU SET day. Bierlein is a founding member of MSU Women in Computing and serves as the group’s president.

The award was sponsored by Ford Motor Company and presented by Adam Haas.
