CSE celebrates fall 2008 graduates


Over one hundred people attended the Department of Computer Science and Engineering graduation breakfast on December 6 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.

Graduates, faculty, staff, and families heard remarks from College of Engineering Dean Satish Udpa, Associate Dean Tom Wolff, and Kevin Ohl (BS ’78. Ohl is an executive with Crowe Horwath, LLP.

CSE speakers included Chairperson Matt Mutka, Associate Chairperson George Stockman, BS graduate Derek Gebhard, and PhD graduate Borzoo Bonakdarpour.

Teresa VanderSloot, academic advisor, planned the event and served as master of ceremonies. Eric Torng, graduate director, introduced the MS and PhD graduates.

CSE thanks Academic Advisor Teresa VanderSloot for coordinating the graduation breakfast and Crowe Horwath for making it possible to share breakfast and fellowship on graduation day.
